!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! from earlier drew me back to a question I've always wondered the answer to. Is there an ugly 1966 car? I don't mean a car that was born ugly and died ugly. I mean a car that was beautiful at other periods in it's life but was ugly in 1966. Does such a thing exist? To get the creative juices flowing here are some 1966 cars.

Nope, there's no such thing as an ugly car from the 60s.

Here's a 1966 model. What was the question again? I wasn't listening.

About the best I can do is the Rambler American of '66. Not ugly, but not pretty.

I don't know, make it a hardtop coupe with a different color and it sure aint bad. I was about to say this is the closest to a win so far.

I love a lot of 60s cars. My only real problem is come around 1970 all the musclecars became fastbacks and I start having a harder time telling them apart.

Personally I find both these attractive but part of the question is any car that was ugly in '66 needs to have a different year that was good looking.

All the years, it's been built for 30+ years or something without any significant styling differences except for the grille and some interior bits. So to answer your initial question: 1966 (like the one pictured above)!
